Made from 100% Malvasia grapes, the name is a tribute to gens Maecia, a plebeian family from Rome who became prominent during the imperial period and were consulated on several occasions. In a tombstone, located in Atri, we find a tribute to C. Tullio C. F. Frontoni of the Maecia tribe.

Our Maecia malvasia is aromatic, with a sweet and pleasant flavor and thanks to the maceration, it has a bright amber color.
