The name of this white wine is a tribute to the Gens Petronia, an important family of ancient lineage in the Republic and the Roman Empire.
Tasting notes: Petronia is a straw yellow wine. The bouquet ranges from delicate hints of white flowers to yellow-fleshed fruits peach and pear. On the palate it is dry, refreshing and fruity with a light savoriness.
Food Pairings: Petronia is a wine that best accompanies raw fish starters and seafood dishes, especially shellfish and crustaceans. It also goes well with first courses such as mushroom or vegetable based risotto. Perfect with white meats, it conquers the palate as a tasty accompaniment to tempura vegetables and mixed fried fish. It is also harmonious with medium aged cheeses, creating an irresistible balance of flavors.
