The Via Cecilia (Latin: Via Caecilia) was an ancient Roman road that led from Rome to the Adriatic coast. Its route crossed Amiternum in the plain of L'Aquila and also reached the city of Hadria, today Atri
Tasting notes: Caecilia is a bright straw yellow wine with a vigorous and intriguing character, with a bouquet of white flesh fruits citrus and herbaceous notes of thyme and honey. The taste recalls the olfactory notes, it is dry, fresh and savory, with mineral notes. Long finish.
Pairings: Caecilia is an extremely versatile wine, capable of elegantly accompanying a wide variety of dishes, from aperitifs and soups to white meat and fish first courses, such as spaghetti with clams. It also goes well with vegetable and mushroom dishes. It is excellent with medium-aged cheeses, as its freshness and savoriness counterbalance the fattiness and sweetness of these cheeses.
