We are proud to share an important recognition for Publicius Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC 2024, recently featured as an Exceptional Rosé in the Fine Rosé Report 2026 by Master of Wine Elizabeth Gabay MW and Ben Bernheim. For us, this is more than a great review. It is a meaningful recognition of the quality, identity and potential of Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo on the international wine scene — and a confirmation that we are on the right path.
Tasting notes:
Dark cherry pink. Intense wild berry, sour cherry fruit, and hedgerow freshness on the nose with hints of wild herbs and apple blossom. The palate hits with immense power, offering vibrant, mouth watering glassy acidity and firm, crisp, angular, yet exceptionally well-integrated tannins.
Straddling the borders of dark rosé and summer red, it delivers stunning depth, spice, and pomegranates alongside insanely ripe fruit. Balanced and harmonious despite the power, showing a coolness that defies a hot climate. Cerasuolo is about mastering tannins, and this does exactly that. Perhaps the perfect rosé for Pinot Noir lovers.
We are particularly pleased to see Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo gaining this kind of international attention. It is a distinctive expression of our territory, and we believe it deserves an increasingly prominent place among the world’s fine rosé wines.
