The name of this white wine, obtained from the Pecorino grape, is a tribute to the Gens Naevia, a patrician family that lived in ancient Hadria. To P. Nevio and P. Nevio Severo the descendants erected a monument found in the city of Atri.
Tasting notes: Naevia is a bright amber wine. This macerated pecorino stands out for its elegance and aromatic complexity. The nose releases refined hints of aromatic herbs, with notes of rosemary and sage intertwined with scents of candied fruit and honey. In the mouth it is dry, fresh, dynamic and enveloping, with a perfect balance between acidity and structure. The finish is long and savory, leaving a pleasant mineral trail.
Food pairings: Naevia with its rich texture and vibrant acidity pairs beautifully with truffle dishes, mushrooms, white meats, soft and blue cheeses, legume soups and risottos. Its complexity enhances fish dishes and balances the bold flavors of spicy cuisine.
